Why the dishes in a machine change from visit to visit

The screen of a vending machine is a snapshot: what is left since the last restock, what that machine carries and what is still within its date. The full menu is on our website.

On Monday your usual dish was in the machine. On Thursday its slot is empty. Most likely nothing has been discontinued: a machine holds a limited number of packs, and its screen shows what is left in that machine right now. The full current menu, with calories and macros per pack, is on the menu page.

Between restocks, the machine only sells

We restock our machines regularly. A machine does not refill itself between visits, so the choice is widest right after a restock; by evening, popular dishes may be gone while others remain.

That is how chilled food should behave. Meals in our machines are chilled, not frozen, and not meant to sit for months; a machine always full of every dish would mean a lot of food waiting too long.

Sold out here does not mean gone

A missing dish has most likely sold out in that machine and may return with the next restock; check the full menu before you decide it was dropped. The assortment also varies by machine, and the menu itself changes as dishes come and go; the menu page always shows the current version.

The date can take a pack off the shelf

Every meal has a use-by date on the pack. Thai labelling rules for packaged food, Ministry of Public Health Notification No. 450 of 2024, which replaced No. 367, ban selling food after its “หมดอายุ” (expiry) date (Thai FDA, Notification No. 450). So in any food business a pack that reaches its date leaves the shelf unsold, and a dish can vanish from one machine before another. Which packs go first is a question of FEFO and FIFO rotation. Whatever you buy, glance at the date and the pack (checking the pack before eating).

When your dish is not there

Look for another machine nearby on the machine map, come back after the next restock, or pick something close: a soup instead of a main, or a protein dessert. How a dish gets into the machine in the first place: how food vending works.
